DMCA Policy
MelodicPal takes intellectual property seriously. We handle complaints about alleged copyright infringement on our platform in line with the procedures established by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
1. Filing an Infringement Notice
If you hold the rights to a work that you believe has been reproduced on MelodicPal without your authorization, you may notify us in writing. Your notice must include:
- A handwritten or digital signature of the rights holder (or a person authorized to act on their behalf);
- A clear reference to the protected work that you claim is being infringed;
- The location of the allegedly infringing material on the Service, with enough detail (such as a direct URL) for us to locate it;
- Contact information we can reach you at, including at minimum your full name and a valid email address;
- A good-faith declaration that the disputed use has not been authorized by you, your agent, or applicable law;
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, confirming that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or are authorized to act on their behalf.
2. Filing a Counter-Notice
If you believe your content was removed in error or due to misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice that includes:
- Your physical or digital signature;
- A description of the material that was removed and the exact location on the Service where it was published before removal;
- A declaration, under penalty of perjury, that you genuinely believe the takedown was the result of a mistake or misidentification;
- Your full name, postal address, phone number, and email;
- Your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the region where your address is located (or, if you reside outside the United States, any judicial district where MelodicPal may be found), and confirmation that you will accept service of process from the party who submitted the original notice or their representative.
3. Repeat Offenders
We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate the accounts of users found to be repeat infringers, or who regularly upload material they do not have the rights to use.
4. False Statements
Knowingly submitting a false DMCA notice or counter-notice, whether claiming that material is infringing when it is not, or that a takedown was a mistake when it was not, may expose you to legal consequences.
5. How to Submit a Notice
Send DMCA takedown notices and counter-notices to our team using the contact address below. Please make sure your submission is complete and accurate; incomplete notices may delay or prevent action. We may reach out to request additional information before processing a notice or counter-notice.
